Driving License

A Driving Licence serves as an official certification affirming an individual’s competence to operate motor vehicles. These licences are issued by the Motor Vehicles Department, typically facilitated through Regional Transport Offices (RTOs).

Eligibility for obtaining a Driving Licence generally starts 18 years and above for geared two-wheelers and four-wheelers.

The application process usually involves obtaining a Learners Licence first, followed by applying for a Permanent Driving Licence after a minimum period, typically one month, from the issuance of the Learners Licence. This process ensures that drivers gain necessary experience and knowledge before obtaining a full-fledged driving permit.
