NOC Submission & Re-Registration FAQ

Q: What happens if the NOC is not submitted within 15 days of issue? +
A: Most RTOs require the NOC entry/submission process to start within 15 days. If delayed, you may be liable for **monthly late penalties**. Ravi RTO Consultant specializes in late-submission cases, helping you minimize fines and clear the backlog quickly.
Q: Do I have to bring the vehicle to the RTO for NOC submission? +
A: Yes, for re-registration (NOC Entry) in a new state/RTO, a **physical inspection** of the vehicle is mandatory to verify the Chassis number. However, when you work with us, we coordinate the timing so the inspection is done smoothly without you having to wait for hours.
Q: Can I get a Road Tax refund from the old RTO after submitting the NOC? +
A: Yes. Once your vehicle is re-registered in the new state, you can apply for a pro-rata tax refund from your original RTO. We can assist you with the documentation required to prove the transfer and claim your refund.
Q: What if my issued NOC is lost before I could submit it? +
A: If the physical NOC is lost, you must file an FIR and apply for a **Duplicate NOC** from the source RTO. Ravi RTO Consultant handles the entire paperwork for Duplicate NOC issuance to ensure your vehicle transfer isn't blocked.
Q: Do I need to update my insurance after the NOC entry is complete? +
A: Absolutely. Once your new registration number (e.g., changing from MH to KA) is issued, you must inform your insurance provider to update the policy. This is critical for valid accident claims.
